Was going to use Everybody's Fool because it's pretty much a unanimous decision that it's her theme song, but Evanescence wasn't giving me the inspiration I so desperately needed, so I chose this song, and I feel it fits her just as well. Deep down Azula's just a girl who got the raw end of the deal when it came to parents. From a young age she attached herself to a father that, when he looked at her, saw her as a tool instead of a daughter. Meanwhile Zuzu got all of mommy's attention and when she left he had Iroh to look up to. At least Zuko got away. Can you imagine the emotional abuse Ozai would have had to put her through to get to the state she was In by the end of the series? It certainly explains the perfectionist attitude she has, every time she did something, he'd tell her it wasn't good enough, and she worked until she got his approval, but she never got his love. She literally doesn't know what love is because she's never gotten it or given it. She was too afraid ! of getting hurt, which is understandable when you look at not only her family, but her friends. Mai left her for Zuko (like her mother and uncle), and Ty Lee left her for Mai. In the end there was always someone ahead of her /Overanalyzing characters moment over.
